FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) – Manny Ramirez continued his hot hitting for the Red Sox on Sunday, going 3-for-3 against the Pittsburgh Pirates and raising his spring training average to .581.

Ramirez got a break in the first when Pirates right fielder J.J. Davis misplayed his fly ball, allowing it to drop in for a double. But he added a solid single in the third and an RBI double in the fifth, when he was lifted for a pinch-runner.

Ramirez also scored two runs, after his hits in the first and fifth were followed by doubles from David Ortiz.

The Red Sox lost 10-4 to the Pirates.
