LEWISTON — Geiger, a Lewiston-based promotional products distributor, has announced its “Stars” and “All-Stars” for 2002. Geiger Stars are individual associates (employees) and Geiger All-Stars are team of associates who demonstrate positive attitudes, pride in their work and strong commitments to achieving and maintaining excellence as evidenced by their on-the-job contributions.

This program recognizes associates and teams who, by practicing the principles of Geiger Quality, embrace innovative ways to meet customer expectations and contribute to the company’s business.

Geiger Stars and All-Stars are awarded on a quarterly basis. They are based on five categories: business achievement, community service, customer satisfaction, leadership and process improvement.

For the first quarter of 2002, the Geiger All-Stars, recognized for customer satisfaction, were these members of the Geiger North Central Region Total Care (customer service) Team: Kim Beaudin, Nancy Bell, Heather Fulgham, Doris Gorey, Kevin Gagnon, Jackie King and Kristy Lacour.

For the second quarter of 2002, the Geiger Stars were Kevin Boilard and Jason Rowe, both honored for customer satisfaction, and Pam Grimshaw and Nancy Lavoie, both recognized for process improvement.

The following members of the Geiger Catalog Merchandising Program accounting team were named Geiger All-Stars, based on process improvement: Kelly Barclay, Stella Duclos, Jean Dunphy, Allen Ford, Kathy Fulton, Rachelle Power, Joanne Tetreault and Angela Waning,

Two teams were recognized as Geiger All-Stars during the third quarter of 2002. CMP Studio Team members Dan Coleman and Louise Michaud for business achievement; and Associate Training Team members Pat Penley and Margaret VanNote for leadership. In addition, Ed Greenwood and Christine Knowlton were named Geiger Stars for community service and for leadership, respectively.

Most recently, the company awarded the Geiger Stars for the fourth quarter of 2002. Rhonda Briggs was recognized for leadership; Lesley Mosher for customer satisfaction; Rita Smith for business achievement; and Jerry Waite and Ken Wood, both for process improvement.
