RUMFORD — The Rumford Community Homes Staff Activity Committee presented Kathryn Trenoweth and Patricia Harris with gift certificates to Wal-Mart as winners in the drawing for perfect attendance in February.
In January there were 45 names in the drawing with February having an increase to 54 names. The committee held its first bake sale and raffle on March 14th with a good turnout.
Special thanks go to Ramona Sweatt for donating five hand-made articles for the raffle. The winners were Carole Weeks, birdfeeder; Anne Leonard, jelly bean gumball holder; Stephanie Benedix, lighted potpouri jar and doll; Rendall Heath, candy.
Mike Flagg tended the raffle table.
