LEWISTON — A Look Good … Feel Better program will be offered from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Central Maine Medical Center’s Cynthia A. Rydholm Cancer Treatment Center.

The American Cancer Society’s program assists women who are faced with appearance changes resulting from cancer treatment.

A volunteer from the National Cosmetology Association will teach a small group of women how to apply cosmetics specific to their individual needs. Hair and wig styling will also be discussed. Wigs are available through purchase or loan. Each participant will be given a complimentary bag of cosmetics.

Rebekah Order

AUBURN — Liberty Rebekah Lodge 94 will host a meeting of all Rebekahs and others who are interested in learning more about the works of the Rebekah Order on Monday, April 7, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St.

A light supper will be served at 6 p.m. followed by a program conducted by Glennys Wilkins and Polly Burlock. LEWISTON — The L/A Toastmasters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Bates Mill Complex first-floor conference room, 35 Canal St. A feature will be the annual International Speech Contest. Contestants will include Bob Sawyer and George Greenwood.

AUBURN — The Androscoggin Valley Past Noble Grand’s Association of Auburn will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, for an Easter egg auction at the Odd Fellows Hall, 50 Elm St. Gail Morgan will lead an Easter egg auction.

A potluck supper will be served at 6:30 under the direction of the Supper Committee, Arlene Chandler, Sally Fournier and Lucy Cowles. All past noble grands are invited.

BRUNSWICK — The Friends of Merrymeeting Bay’s Speaker Series will present “Wild Rice Community Dynamics” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at the Beam Classroom, Visual Arts Center, Bowdoin College.

Speakers will be Assistant Professor John Lichter, Julie Grinvalsky and Tim Pasakarnis of Bowdoin College.
