1960 – 2003

LEWISTON – Joseph Edward Delano, 42, of New Vineyard died Tuesday, April 1, at Central Maine Medical Center following a lingering battle with Lou Gehrig (ALS).

He was born Dec. 9, 1960, in Rumford the son of Joseph C. Delano of New Hampshire, and Jolene M. Pratt of Rangeley. He graduated from Mount Blue High School and was an avid sportsman. He loved life and lived it to its fullest.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Jackson Delano of New Vineyard; his daughter, Lacie Delano of Lewiston; his stepchildren, Sharon Dill of Augusta and Darren Dill of Lewiston; a granddaughter, Jasmine Farrington of Augusta; brothers, Rick Delano of Mount Vernon and William Wilbur of Wilton.
