AUBURN — A new slate of officers of Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, was installed recently at the Masonic Hall. Ellen Broas was installed worthy matron and Stephen Broas, worthy patron.

Others taking office were Patricia Rea, associate matron; James Lawlor, associate patron; Betty Perkins, secretary; Charles Moody, treasurer; Harriet Stretton, conductress; Kathy Williamson, associate conductress; Mary Lawlor, chaplain; Betty Ann Thomas, marshal; Debra Greim, organist; Madelyn Grover, Adah; June Spear, Ruth; Lu Farrington, Esther; Sharon McGilvery, Martha; Pamela Slye, Electa; and Andy Bradeen, sentinel.

Installing officers were Barbara Inglis, past grand matron, patron; Norma Crabtree, associate grand conductress, marshal; Charlene Pelletier, chaplain; Susan Glines, organist; and Mary Lawlor, Star Point Ceremony.

Junior Past Matron Mary Lawlor was presented her past matron’s jewel by her daughter, Ellen Broas, and Junior Past Patron James Lawlor was presented his past patron’s jewel by his son-in-law, Stephen Broas.

Refreshments were served in the dining hall after the installation ceremony.
