LEWISTON – A teaching on Eucharistic Adoration will be presented by Sister Elizabeth Madden from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall.
Madden is a member of the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament, which is a contemplative, non-cloistered Eucharistic community with spiritual ministries in the Catholic Church.
She has completed studies in theology, scripture and spirituality and is certified in Ignatian spirituality and spiritual direction. She is serving as vocational director for the U.S. Province of the Servants of the Blessed Sacrament.
Her talk will prepare the faithful for the celebration of the Feast of Holy Thursday. She will review the history of the Passover meal and the profound changes that Jesus added to this meal, as well as its central importance to experience of the celebration of the Eucharist today.
A brunch will be served and all are welcome.
