EAST SUMNER – The annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at the East Sumner Congregational Church for all children from 2 to 12 from Hartford, Sumner and Buckfield. Bring your own basket. The event is sponsored by the Mothers Community Club of Sumner.

Guest preacher

PARIS – The Rev. Dr. Janet Bowering will speak at the 10 a.m. Palm Sunday service Sunday, April 13, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris. Her sermon topic will be, “The Lonesosme Valley and the Noise Parade.” Music will be under the director of Forest Perkins with Wayne Bridgham as soloist.

Sunday school will be in session during the service hour and child care will be provided. The coffee hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.

Lodge meeting

PARIS – Ron Raymond will be guest speaker at a meeting of Paris Lodge 94, AF and AM, East Main Street, South Paris, on Tuesday, April 15. Supper is at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting at 7:30. All master masons are welcome.
