AUGUSTA — The Lewiston Legislative Delegation presented a Legislative Sentiment to Lewiston Eagle Scout Daniel Grant and one to his grandfather, Irving Grant, on March 12 during Scout Day at the Maine State Legislature.
Grant is the father of four Eagle Scouts and the grandfather of four Eagle Scouts.
The Grants, along with 232 Eagle Scouts and Gold and Silver Award Scouts and their families, were honored at the yearly celebration at the Legislature.
Present were Daniel and Irving Grant, Rep. Margaret Craven (D-Lewiston), Sen. Peggy Rotundo (D-Androscoggin), Rep. William Walcott (D-Lewiston), Rep. Richard H. Mailhot (D-Lewiston), Rep. Elaine Makas (D-Lewiston), Sen. Neria Douglass (D-Androscoggin) and Rep. Lillian LaFontaine O’Brien (D-Lewiston).
