Concerning the “Indian Head” on Route 2 in Wilton.

Many years ago I wrote to the then governor to ask why the “Indian head” wasn’t publicized more and suggested it would be a good heading on state stationery.

My letter was also ignored. I thought it was amazing that such a natural face could be made just from blasting rock.

After all, what are the chances of it ever happening again?

I still think it should be made more public.

Maybe now that the “Old Man” is gone the state will pay more attention to “Big Chief.”

He deserves a salute!
