LEWISTON – Chuck Faletra tripled and doubled and knocked in 3 runs to power Hammond Lumber to a 7-6 victory over Dube Gravel in the Major Division. Kendrick White drilled a 2-run double and Matt Beauparlant earned the mound win. Jake Mousseau ripped 2 triples and a double and drove in 4 runs for Dube. Devin Houlihan scored 3 runs, along with a single and 2 stolen bases.

Also in the Majors, Aroostook Fence blanked Hammond Lumber 11-0 as Alex Wong struck out 9 and went 2-2 at the plate. Austin Renaud stroked a pair of doubles. Chuck Faletra collected 2 hits, 1 a triple, and 3 RBI for Hammond.

LEWISTON – Cross Insurance opened its Major Division season wtih a come-from-behind 9-8 win over Hannaford. Casey Parker held the Grocers hitless with 10 strikeouts through 4 innings. Cody Lessard’s 2-out triple in the last of the sixth produced the winning run. Cris Jacques, Parker and Max Lessard also had hits. Dustin Oberlander and Josh Pelletier both pitched for Hannaford.
