BETHEL – The BIG Adventure Center has announced the expansion of its family entertainment center with the addition of four new bowling lanes.

The alleys feature Mini-Lanes Bowling, a new and extremely popular downsized 10-pin game featuring electronic scoring, interactive monitors, and glow-in-the-dark lanes. The balls used are slightly larger than those of candlepin and there is a choice of 5-and 8-pound weights. No special shoes are required to bowl. The automatic token-operated lanes cost $2 per string and up to eight people can bowl on one lane. Although these alleys are manufactured in the Midwest, the phrenolic laminates used come from Pioneer Plastics in Auburn.

The BIG Adventure list of entertainment venues include laser tag, indoor rock gym, mini-golf, two water slides, pool with spa, game room, and beach volleyball court. For more information, phone 824-0929 or e-mail big@megalink.net.
