POLAND SPRING – The Poland Spring Inn and Country Club has extended its season to accommodate more functions from mid-October through December in addition to its normal season, which runs from mid-May until early fall.
Owners Mel and Cyndi Robbins announced the decision pointing to a growing number of function requests.
“It is our hope that by extending our operating months we might help fill the demand for events such as Christmas parties, seminars, retirement parties, weddings, anniversary parties and the like,” the Robbinses said in a written statement.
The resort can accommodate groups of up to 270 people, provide meals, and it offers a customized full liquor service.
The inn, which has been open for 30 years, is set on 400 acres that includes an 18-hole golf course. It is open for house guests on weekends in the spring and fall and all week long during the summer.
