A great many people in the Stanton Bird Club disagree with the concept of making a nature center at Thorncrag as planned.

The pamphlet recently published tells how the sanctuary is used and how the Twin City area supports it. What more is needed!

The board of directors is just set on a building, of selling memorabilia – maybe mugs – and bringing in busloads of outsiders.

Much thought should be put into who will care for the building, do the selling and all other problems arising from such a venture.

Members should be caring for the sanctuary and greeting people who come to enjoy the pleasures for which the region was established.
