RUMFORD – Rumford Community Home’s annual volunteer recognition entertained more than 25 of the 55 volunteers on the home’s roster. The volunteers received certificates of appreciation and a gift in gratitude for the hours they have donated during the past year.
Activities Coordinators Coe-Coe Gurney, Anne Leonard and Paula Cunningham invited each volunteer to come forward as their contributions were detailed and presented each with flowers.
Director of Nursing Norma House thanked the volunteers, letting them know how important they are to Rumford Community Home residents. Following the ceremony, everyone enjoyed beverages and sweets.
