LEWISTON – Joshua Leger has been presented a donation for being chosen to represent the United States as part of the People to People Sports Ambassador Program. Linda Verrill, secretary of Cavalier Bingo, made the presentation.

He will represent the country in the Holland Golden Pin Bowling Tournament that will feature the United States vs. Holland. Leger will train in Brussels, Belguim, for seven days. He will then fly to Holland where he will bowl in the Holland Golden Pin with other chosen Sports Ambassadors from around the country who will make up the United States team.

Leger is an eighth-grade honor student at Lewiston Middle School. He bowls in the major division of the Youth Amateur Bowling Association as well as the Elite Scratch Bowling League at Spare-Time Recreation. Leger must raise $3,725 in order to be a part of the People to People Ambassador Program. For more information on helping Leger call 782-0434.
