AUBURN – The American Legion Androscoggin County Council Auxiliary will hold a joint installation of officers at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at New Auburn American Legion Post 153.

The auxiliary held a Dirigo Girls State Tea followed by the county meeting and election recently.

President Edith Lemieux drew the raffle winners as follows: Aime Rich, Bernie Slyvenski, Ray Lemieux, Mechanic Falls American Legion Auxiliary 150, Paul L’Heureux, Audrey Hilton and Lee Rowe. A buffet lunch followed.

Fund-raising monies were given to support domestic abuse, Beal House, Girls State, Special Olympics, Togus and children and youth.
