LEWISTON – Post 22, American Legion, will hold installation of officers on Sunday, June 1, at the American Legion Hall, 426 Washington St., Auburn.
Gard Emman, past state department commander, and his installing team will do the honors. A social hour will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. followed by the installation at 1.
Toni Blouin, Auxiliary 22 president, and other Auxiliary members will serve a buffet-style lunch followed by live music. A raffle will be held.
Joseph Paradis, trustee, Post 22, and founder of the new Veterans Memorial Park, said that many veterans are asking how to have their name placed in the new park. Paradis said a special table will be available to accommodate aall veterans with proper form and ID. Dues will also be processed.
