FARMINGTON – The Incredible Seniors bowling league at Meadow Lanes in East Wilton completed their season with their annual banquet and awards on May 14 at the Elks Lodge.
An election of officers was held. Elected were President Brian Rowe, Vice President Paul Farrell, Secretary Mary DeCristofaro and Treasurer Lee Farrell.
The first place team, The Swallows, included members Elizabeth Patenaude, Barbara White, Bill O’Connor, Dana Hoyt and Don Gossom.
High team series, the Starlings, with 2515 pins included members Joyce Barnaby, Helen Buchanan, Ham Allen, Jim Gajarski and Dick Peters.
High team game, the Wrens, 875 pins, included Louise Hagerstrom, Mary Collins, Art Kemp, Skip Dyke and Norman Blodgett.
High average: men, Larry French 173 and women, Jean Sickels, 159.
High series scratch: Jim Gajarski 666 and Betty Williams 567.
High series handicap: Norman Blodgett 770, Joyce Barnaby 795.
High single scratch: Paul Farrell 263, Ida Goodhart 233.
High single handicap: Cliff Harris 299 and Helen Buchanan 293.
Most improved: men, Bill Richards, plus 23 pins from 126 to 149; women, Ida Goodhart, plus 21 pins from 120 to 147.
