LEEDS – Leeds defeated the Greene Gators 17-5 in the 12-Under Division as Elizabeth Henry rapped 5 hits. Loureen Mytayer added 4 safeties, 1 a homer. Katherine Rothie and Kristen Capen both went 3-3, with Rothie clouting a home run. Henry and Capen both pitched. Dayle Jordan and Heidi Nadeau were repeat hitters for the Gators.
The Turner Patriots outslugged the Greene Gators 19-11. Greene hurler Heidi Nadeau, who struck out 6, banged 2 hits as did Ariane Bowie along with 2 RBI. Cassy Bates and Dancca Rabassa both singled and scored twice.
Lewiston Men
LEWISTON – Al Mockler went 4-4 to power Acme Club to a 24-14 win over Fast Breaks in the American League. Mike Gagne, Paul Dubois, Marc Robichaud and Chuck Simpson added 3 hits each, with Robichaud and Simpson swatting a homer. Mike Young was the winning hurler.
