FARMINGTON – The Fairbanks School Neighborhood Association, a nonprofit group, is looking for donations to the annual yard/plant/garden sale to be held June 7 at the old Fairbanks School, Route 4 (2 miles north of Farmington center). This is a fund-raising event to help with reconstruction of the old Fairbanks School that burned down in 1998. For donations or more information, call 778-4349, 778-4272 or 778-6214.

Alumni meeting

STRATTON-EUSTIS – The Alumni Association of the Dead River Area will have its 23rd annual meeting Saturday, Aug. 2, at Cathedral Pines Campground public picnic area on Route 27 in Eustis. In case of rain the meeting will be at the Stratton/Eustis Community Building on Main Street, Stratton.

Graduates of Stratton High School, Flagstaff High School and Mt. Abram Regional High School are invited. Registration is at 10 a.m. with the meeting and awards at 11. The Lions Club will serve a barbecue. For more information, call Carol Gray, association secretary, at 246-4261.
