LEWISTON – Attorney Thomas P. Peters II, as representative of the trustee, announces the winner of the 2003 Alice Austin and Mary Schuman Scholarship Fund.

The winner, Elyssa A. Marshall, is a graduating senior of Edward Little High School.

Marshall is the daughter of Gordon and Joy Marshall of Auburn and will attend the University of Maine at Farmington in the fall.

The scholarship fund is intended to assist students from the Lewiston-Auburn-Greene area pursuing studies in the field of education. The amount of the scholarship will vary from year to year, but it is expected to be in the range of $2,000 a year and have a total value of up to $8,000 over the four years of college education.
