LEWISTON – The Woman’s Hospital Association of Central Maine Medical Center will hold the annual membership luncheon on Wednesday, June 4, at Martindale Country Club in Auburn.
The social time will begin 11:30, followed by a buffet luncheon, a business meeting and the featured guest speaker.
This year’s speaker will be Shelley Stone, manager of children’s services at CMMC. Stone will discuss the Endowment Fund for Pediatrics. Each year the association sponsors a Gala Ball, with the proceeds going to the Pediatric Endowment Fund.
All members and anyone who might be interested in the work of the association is invited to attend.
The cost is $14 a person, and reservations should be made in advance by calling the Gift Shop at CMMC (795-2295) prior to May 28.
The association is an organization that supports Central Maine Medical Center and its patients by promoting the health and welfare of the community and by raising money to fund special projects.
