WEST PARIS – Ring-McKeen Post 151, American Legion and Auxiliary, are sponsoring the Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 26.
The parade will form at 10:30 a.m. on Maple Street and steps off at 11.
Grand marshals will be Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Hadley and Lois Witham Pirainen. The Oxford Hills Middle School Band will provide music.
The parade will proceed down Maple Street to the center of the villlage for a brief ceremony. Marchers will go to the bridge for a prayer from the Rev. Lloyd Waterhouse.
The parade will then go to the cemetery for a prayer by the Rev. Erlon Hardy, an address by Waterhouse, music and recitation of “Flanders Fields” by Bertha DeHaas. The parade then march back to the Veterans’ Memorial Park.
