Dirigo High honors academic achievers
DIXFIELD – Dirigo High School Principal Dan Hart announces that 41 grade nine to 12 students and their parents were invited and honored at the 2002-03 Dirigo High School Academic Honors Banquet on Sunday, May 4, at Dirigo High School.
Guest speaker Jeffery Parsons of Bethel Outdoors Adventure and a corporation relations consultant spoke of characteristics of perspective, teamwork and cooperation in one’s educational and career experiences.
Fourteen freshmen, 10 sophomores, two juniors and 10 seniors were recognized for achieving honors or high honors for three consecutive ranking periods this school year. Seven seniors were also honored for being Student of the Month recipients for this school year. A formal dinner was provided by the SAD 21 Food Service and seven classmates volunteered their time to support their peers as waiters and waitresses during the dinner portion of the evening.
