RUMFORD – Vickie Morton has assumed the position of supported employment instructor at Oxford County ARC.
The agency serves mentally handicapped children and adults. Morton will work with OCARC program participants and local employers. She will assist in finding appropriate job placements and in ensuring that participants are provided good job coaching.
Morton brings to her position 14 years of experience of working with OCARC, its program participants and the community.
She has worked with clients while serving as manager of the What Not shop, served as the Person Centered Planning coordinator and as a one-on-one instructor.
She has been recognized by the Department of Behavioral and Developmental Services for professionalism and service.
