Imagine how Lewiston’s negative reputation would change if we were just to clean our streets of trash and litter?
While I walk down the streets I see people throw trash out of their cars. Also, I see people walking down the sidewalks and dropping wrappers on the ground and just leaving them there, like they just don’t care.
I believe there should be a $200 fine any time someone litters. Sooner or later they will find out that littering is a bad thing.
People don’t want to come to a city that is dirty. They want to come to a clean place.
So, let’s make Lewiston a cleaner place.
