AUBURN – Mary Jane Bishop was promoted to vice president, Bank Security and CRA officer at Northeast Bank.

She will be responsible for security at the bank’s 12 branches and several office locations, as well as Information Security. She will also be responsible for implementing the Community Reinvestment Act at Northeast.

Bishop has been with Northeast since 1997, most recently as business development officer of the bank’s Augusta branch. In previous years she has held multiple positions, including branch manager of up to three locations at one time and in Branch Operations and Services for all branch locations. She has 28 years in the banking industry overall, working for multiple institutions including Fleet, People’s and KeyBank.

Bishop lives in Farmingdale and has a daughter, Shelly, who lives in Augusta. She has also studied extensively at the Center for Financial Education.
