PARIS – The Oxford County Retired Teachers Association will meet Friday, June 13, at the First Congregational Church vestry in South Paris. The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. with a used book sale for the benefit of the scholarship fund.
President Marilyn Leighton will lead the meeting at which time officers will be installed. Jean Boyd will be the new president, Rodney Abbott will be vice president, Gloria Sawyer will stay as secretary and Helene Decker remains as treasurer.
The noon dinner will be followed by entertainment by the Maurice Dance Theatre. Any retired teacher or teacher aide or retired school office staff are invited. If not on the membership phone-chain list, call Leighton at 743-7677 for reservations.
