LEWISTON – St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, as part of its Center for Physical Rehabilitation, has unveiled a new Wheelchair Seating and Mobility Clinic.
The clinic is focused on meeting the mobility needs of the region’s wheelchair-bound population. For those in need of a wheelchair, the clinic assesses each patient’s particular needs and recommends the most appropriate fit for a chair.
In addition to personalized fittings, the clinic alleviates the stress of paperwork by completing the necessary insurance processing for its clients. This allows for a seamless continuum of care and a speedy home delivery of the chair. The clinic also performs a follow-up appointment to address any problems.
