LEWISTON – Lewiston Adult Education will offer summer classes mornings or afternoons on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays beginning the weeks of June 10 and 17. A class may be as long as eight weeks or as short as three.

The classes being offered are: Math for College, Grammar for College, MS Excel (IBM), MS Word: Basic (IBM), Keyboarding Basics, Writing Well at Work, Speak Up, Speak Well at Work, Basic Conversational Spanish, Chemistry with lab and Life Planning: Exploring New Paths.

The PLATO Learning Program, a computer-managed learning system, offers self-paced modules of study based on what participants need to learn.

The External Credit Option (ECO) offers self-paced, independent learning with the assistance of an instructor. Participants can earn credits toward a high school diploma through either program. For both, it is necessary to meet with a counselor before enrolling.
