LEWISTON – The Central Maine Christian Academy recently held a graduation ceremony at the United Baptist Church.

Commencement exercises were held for the school’s three seniors, Nathaniel Verrill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Verrill; Treasure Lindahl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindahl; and Nathan Fish, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Fish.

During the graduation, students honored their senior classmates through interpretive music, songs and tributes that they had written to the seniors. A slide show of each of the graduates’ lives followed. Then youth pastor and teacher Michael Nyberg presented the commencement address, “The Wise Traveler.”

The diplomas were awarded by administrator Patricia St. Hilaire, board member Thomas Clark and members of the high school staff, Tammy Paquette and Frances Lodge.

Following the benediction given by Nyberg, relatives and friends joined the graduates and their parents in a receiving line.
