BRYANT POND – The Whitman Memorial Library will feature well-known wildlife photographer Jennifer Loomis at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 12. She will be having a slide show of her famous photos and will have prints available. All are welcome.
Society program
WATERFORD – The Waterford Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, at the Old Town House. There will be a presentation by fourth-graders from the Waterford Memorial School on “Historical Games and Toys.” The children will be interviewing elderly family members/friends about the games they played in their youth.
Historical games and toys will be on display. Those attending are encouraged to bring items to share, as well as participate in the program. A potluck dessert will follow.
Honoring fathers
NORWAY – The Rev. Joy D. Gasta’s sermon for the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, June 15, at the First Universalist Church of Norway is titled “The Story of Fathers is Really Told One Story at a Time – But How Do Today’s Stories Compare to Those of 1903?” A coffee hour follows the service.
