You are cordially invited to attend the 5th Annual Chief’s Invitational that will be held on July 4 at the Moontide Water Festival at the reflection pool starting at 12:30 p.m.
Area chiefs will have an opportunity to see who can drive the ball out the farthest into the reflection pool. The Chief driving the ball the farthest will have the bragging rights for the next year as well as a trophy to show off until the next Chief’s Invitational. Last year, Mexico’s Police Chief, Jim Theriault won and will try to defend his title this year. If the trophy is won three years in a row by the same Chief, it will be his to keep. This will be an intermission to the 1st Annual Moontide Reflection Pool Fishing Derby which will resume immediately following the Chief’s Invitational.
