For the forth year, The Moontide Water Festival, Fourth of July celebration will be hosted by Scot and Cindy Grassette of Moontide Music Co. They will broadcast to the Information Center area, and to the top of Falls Hill, from the Veterans Memorial Park located at the end of Congress Street in Rumford. Activities will begin at 11a.m. and will continue right through to the fireworks.
The Grassette’s have a very busy calendar slated for this year, including weddings, reunions, and other functions. “We really look forward to being a part of Independence Day in Rumford. This is a major event for the local area and state, and with all the international chaos there has never been a better time to celebrate our independence” remarks Grassette. “It’s nice to see people come to town for the Fourth rather than drive away” says Cindy.
You can be sure there will be a wide variety of music, activity, and fun. As a professional magician Scot can have almost anything up his sleeve. Cindy enjoys setting up the scene for audience participation. If you catch them at the right time, you can expect almost anything from these talented entertainers.
