SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — More than 600 students received degrees with the class of 2003 at Union College’s commencement. Among the area students were:

Lisbon Falls: Jonathan W. Lawless, a graduate of Lisbon High School, bachelor of arts in interdepartmental studies organizing theme, summa cum laude.

Litchfield: John W. Thompson, a graduate of Oak Hill High School, bachelor os science in computer information systems.

West Bowdoin: Karla L. Strobel, a graduate of Mt. Ararat School, bachelor of arts with double BA majors, modern languages-political science, magna cum laude.
