Monica Keena and Brendan Fletcher are among the teens in jeopardy in “Freddy vs. Jason.” Monica and Brendan who? Don’t laugh. Demi Moore, Holly Hunter and Daryl Hannah are among those who’ve paid their dues escaping (or not) knife-wielding sickos. Among the now-famous actors who apprenticed in the “Friday the 13th” or “Nightmare on Elm Street” series:

• Kevin Bacon played Jack, a camp counselor, in the original “Friday the 13th.” He wound up with an arrow through the throat after a little extra-curricular hanky-panky.

• Heather Langenkamp starred in and survived “Nightmare 1” but dies in “3.” She plays herself, an actress in a horror film, in the sixth sequel, “Wes Craven’s New Nightmare.”

• Johnny Depp made his screen debut as Glen in the original “Nightmare.” When he nods off, he’s sucked into his mattress and coughed up as a crimson geyser.

• Patricia Arquette appeared as Kirsten in “Nightmare 3.” She’s almost ingested by the Freddy-snake but survives.

• Corey Feldman (“Gremlins,” “The Goonies”) played 10-year-old Tommy Jarvis in “Friday IV” and “V.” He kills Jason in “IV,” insofar as anyone really kills Jason.

• Crispin Glover (“Back to the Future” movies) played Jimmy in “Friday, Part IV.” He gets a corkscrew through the hand and then is killed by machete.

• Breckin Meyer (“Road Trip,” the upcoming “Garfield”) played Spencer the pothead in “Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare.” He’s killed by a Nintendo-wielding Freddy.

• Kelly Hu (“The Scorpion King,” “X2”) made her screen debut as Eva in “Friday VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan.” She didn’t make it to the final credits.

(Demi Moore was in “Parasite,” 1982, Holly Hunter was in “The Burning,” 1981, and Daryl Hannah was in “The Final Terror,” 1983).
