LEWISTON – Tom Judge, executive director of LifeFlight of Maine, has been chosen to receive the Jim Charlson Award from the Association of Air Medical Services. Judge will accept this national safety award at the Air Medical Transport Conference in Reno this November. The award is presented annually to an individual for his/her significant contributions to the enhancement, development or promotion of aviation or aviation safety in the national and international air medical transport community.

In June of this year, the crews of the two LifeFlight of Maine helicopters based in Lewiston and Bangor, nominated Judge for the award.
