1925 – 2003
YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. – Theresa D. Albert, 78, died peacefully Friday, Aug. 29, at Ingleside Lodge at Yucca Valley, from heart failure.
Marie Theresa Dube was born in Sabattus, Feb. 16, 1925, one of 10 children. She graduated from St. Mary’s Nursing School and married Roland A. Albert on June 6, 1946 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Lewiston. They were blessed with nine children.
She put her heart in her work as a registered nurse for 20 years with the County of Los Angeles. She loved to entertain for family and friends, especially during the holidays, and she gave selflessly of her time and did whatever she could to help her children, family and friends. She always saw “the glass half full” and said each new day was like a “birthday.”
Survivors include seven children; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fernand “Charlie” Dube and Conrad Dube both of Sabattus; and two sisters, Simone Stevenson of Manchester, Conn., and Chantal Gosselin of Lewiston.
