PORTLAND – An article on the Maine Press Association’s 2003 Better Newspaper Contest published on Sunday’s page A1 should have noted that Denise Morin also received a second place award for in-paper circulation promotion. Sandy Dyer received a third place award for local ad in color. The article should also have identified Linda Galway as the winner of a second place award for the Balloon Festival supplement. Judges praised the supplement for its community advertising support as well as being informative, interesting and “warm and fuzzy.”
