RealKitchen cures with ReaLemon
If crust and crud are corroding your kitchen – take action! Cleaning with ReaLemon lemon juice will not only restore your kitchen’s original sparkle, it will bring a lemony breeze to the entire area!
Following are simple, all-natural ReaLemon tips to cleaning your kitchen with ease!
Fridge Cleaner
Are there cartons of milk in your refrigerator older than you are? Do you suspect that the lunchmeats are walking around when you shut the fridge door? Then it may be time to clean out the icebox.
Take out all the products that have expired (or that appear to have metamorphosed since you put them in there)! Next, fill a bucket with 1/3 cup of ReaLemon lemon juice and gallon warm water. When the shelves are cleared, wipe them down with a scrubbing sponge and the solution. Finish by drying each shelf with a soft cloth.
The lemon juice and water deter mold – leaving your fridge smelling great!
Kitchen Countertop CleanerKitchen counters and cutting boards get more wear and tear than any other surface in your kitchen. From grease stains to vegetable and fruit stains, counters and cutting boards absorb grease, collect odors and get discolored. ReaLemon can help you restore the surfaces to their original finish naturally. Simply rub the affected areas with ReaLemon until the stains come out. Your surfaces will look as good as new and smell lemony fresh!
Drain Cleaner
Think of all the things that go down your kitchen sink each day – you’ll probably agree that the drain can use a bit of cleaning from time to time. Measure out a cup of ReaLemon and a cup of baking soda. Pour the baking soda into the drain first, then follow it up with the lemon juice. Leave the mixture for 15 minutes before rinsing with hot tap water. Users beware! The chemical interaction between ReaLemon and the baking soda may make some noise!
Aluminum Cookware Cleaner
If your aluminum pots and pans have lost their shine and luster, it’s time to spring to action with ReaLemon. Lemon juice’s natural acidity can be used to remove discoloration that mar the surface of your aluminum cookware. Simply fill the pan with ReaLemon lemon juice and water – one tablespoon of lemon juice per quart of water. Simmer the mixture until the discoloration is gone. Finish by scouring the pan with a steel wool pad – then, sit back and admire your reflection in the pots’ and pans’ newfound sparkle!
Removing stains and odors from your hands
After spending a long summer day cooking, it’s time to clean up. Eliminating stubborn berry stains and fishy, garlicky odors has never been easier – simply rub a teaspoon or two of ReaLemon onto your hands, wash as usual, then go relax – you’ve earned it!
