CANTON – Whitney Lodge 167 A.F. & A.M. will hold a stated meeting Thursday, Oct. 2, at 7:30 p.m. This will be the annual inspection and will be preceded by a casserole dinner at 6:30 p.m. All Master Masons are welcome.

School yard sale

PERU – Heritage School will have a yard sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the school on Route 108. Donated goods may be dropped off at the school on Friday, Oct. 3.

Library’s story hour

MEXICO – The Public Library is holding a story and craft hour every Tuesday at 10 a.m. After the stories, the people work on a craft project to take home.
