There has been a great unseen injustice done in the community.
On Monday, Oct. 13, at about 10 a.m., an unscheduled rally on the casino vote was held at the park. It started on the corner of Pine and Bates streets.
Protesters said it’s where the police said to go. The injustice is that on that corner is a home for the mentally disabled. Being disabled myself, it would have troubled me. The point is, as fragile as mentally disabled people are, did protesters need a rally in front of their home? Let’s have moral values in life.
