John Butler Jr. has been a lifelong active resident of Lewiston who advocates for good and fair government.
His Lewiston school board experience, (elected in 1992-1995 and 2001-2003), will be valuable tools when serving on the city council.
John is running for city council in Ward 1, where he has lived for 19 years. He understands his neighbors’ concerns and is familiar with Lewiston’s education system and the complexity of a city budget. He is a businessman familiar with the importance of growth and development.
He co-chairs the School Building Committee and is president of the LHS Alumni Foundation, which awarded 31 scholarships totaling $46,500 in 4 years. He chairs the State’s Truancy, Dropout, Alternative, Homeless Committee and volunteers for children’s liturgy at St. Joseph’s Church.
I am proud to endorse my son John Butler Jr. for city council, knowing he will advocate strongly for Lewiston people.
Rosemarie Butler, Lewiston
