BRUNSWICK – For the sixth year, Arts Downtown & All Around will bring together artists and area merchants Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6.
This year it will be throughout Brunswick and Bath.
The event, produced by the Brunswick Area Arts & Cultural Alliance, is growing. This year, artists and organizations in Bath are in the program for the first time. Fifty arts, cultural events and workshops are scheduled. Most participants will be open both days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The public is invited to the open studios, exhibits, demonstrations, receptions and special performances during the two-day event.
Musicians will perform for free to the public in many venues, galleries and restaurants.
A variety of music, theater and dance events are scheduled.
Fine art, crafts, books and music from local artists are available for sale at many locations, including studios, galleries, and retailers.
Bright yellow flags will fly in front of the nearly 40 participating locations in the region.
Programs and maps will be available after Nov. 24 at the BAACA office, 108 Maine St., Brunswick; at the Bath Brunswick Chamber of Commerce offices; and other area locations.
