Dawn Tyler Watson will not be able to attend.

CARRABASSETT VALLEY – Bill Perry has been added to the all-star lineup of nationally renowned artists scheduled to perform at the sixth annual Sugarloaf/USA Blues Festival Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6.

Perry ranks among the best of a new generation of blues performers, blending his stunning mastery of the guitar with his rough-hewn blues voice.

His brand of robust blues carries strong characteristics of rock but equal soul and folk influences, resulting in a slightly swampy cross between Bob Seger, Freddie King, Little Feat and the Allman Brothers.

The Sugarloaf Blues Festival lineup also includes Bluestime with Jay Geils and Magic Dick, Michael Hill’s Blues Mob, Debbie Davies and Eddie Shaw. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Dawn Tyler Watson will not be part of the Sugarloaf Blues Festival.

Tickets: $10 for Friday night, $20 for Saturday night. They may be purchased through Sugarloaf guest services at (207) 237-6939. Special Blues Festival ski and stay packages are available starting at $69 per person, per night. Call 1-800-THE-LOAF or log on to www.sugarloaf.com for details.
