I sat down with Mr. Jim Horn, who is in charge of student activities at Lewiston High School, and he told me all about the fundraising for breast cancer he worked on in the month of October. Mr. Horn thought that this was a great cause to help, especially because so many of Lewiston’s teachers are survivors of the horrible disease. This past month, most of Lewiston High School jumped at the chance to help such a worthy cause.

Lewiston High asked Edward Little to collaborate with raising funds for Breast Cancer awareness Month. Lewiston High was able to raise $1544.78, while Edward Little raised $900. Neither in this case was a winner or a loser, as both schools charity helped the foundation greatly. Mr. Horn is very grateful that both school were able to make such a huge impact.

Mr. Horn’s future activities will include food drives for the month of November, and Coats For Kids for the month of December.
