PORTLAND – Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, for a concert by Yanni at the Cumberland County Civic Center on April 4.

His 26-city, second leg of a U.S. 2003-04 Ethnicity World Tour features music from his latest album, “Ethnicity,” as well as his much loved classics to the accompaniment by both his core band and a full symphony orchestra.

In March 2003, Yanni launched this tour in Las Vegas and performed in more than 60 cities throughout North America.

Worldwide, Yanni has sold more than 18 million albums and videos, and has earned more than 35 platinum and gold awards. His “Live at the Acropolis” album and video have sold more than 7.5 million and 6 million copies, respectively. His music has been featured at every Summer and Winter Olympic Games for the past two decades.

He has performed in more than 20 countries, including performing and recording at the Forbidden City in China and the Taj Mahal in India. Most recently, Yanni sang the U.S. national anthem at game five of the 2003 World Series.
