Entering high school can seem scary. In your last year of middle school you were known as the big kids. Now entering high school you are deemed the little kids, the lower classmen because you’re the lowest grade in the school – and I thought I was going to be pushed around. When I entered high school, I noticed it wasn’t like that. High school is loads better than middle school.You can pretty much do what you want within reason. I mean, you can’t go running around the halls screaming your head off, but otherwise it’s OK.

One downfall of high school is more work and more responsibility. (Yuck! We all know what that word means, and we all hate that word.) You do have more freedom; I think high school is better is because we have a thing called M & M, also known as Meetings and Makeup. It’s a 20-minute break after first period in which you can go down to the cafeteria and grab breakfast or you can go see a teacher for help, Two more reasons high school is better than middle are because first you don’t have to wait for the teachers to line you up and take you from class to class, and the second is because here the teachers are devoted to helping you make this the best four years of your life. The teachers here will help you in a subject if you’re not getting it, even if it’s not their subject area. That’s why, overall, I think high school is better than middle school.
