The Sun Journal office in Norway has extra copies of its annual Holiday Songbook, a 16-page collection of Christmas carols and songs available at no charge.
The songbook is an advertising supplement that was inserted into Thursday’s paper.
Sun Journal advertising representative Sharon Bouchard ordered extra copies for those participating in the Torchlight Parade and carol sing on Dec. 19 open to all in the community.
“We’re offering them to the community as our thank you and to keep your spirits bright,” Bouchard said. “And if anybody knows the actual music to ‘Mrs. Fogarty’s Christmas Cake,’ please let us know.”
“Mrs. Fogarty’s Christmas Cake,” is a traditional Irish Christmas song that appears in the Songbook along with the words to 20 others.
Songbooks are available at the Sun Journal office at 429 Main St., Norway, from 9:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Groups, churches or businesses are welcome to as many copies as needed, while the supply lasts.
